Wow! The holidays flew by. All the parties with friends and family were so much fun. The kids loved visiting with Santa making their lists and decorating the house. Alex and Austin both had Christmas parties at their schools where they each sang for the parents. Alex sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and even had a little red nose.
It was so cute. He is getting to be such a big boy I just don't know how he grew up so fast.
Austin also sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and was supposed to sing a couple more but he was done after the fist song and then sat down. lol
He just sat in the chair and smiled at us as the other kids sang.
Santa was very good to us all. The kids game the game systems they had been wanting along with some cars and trucks and dressup clothes.
Jason received computer stuff and me scrapbooking stuff so I would say we all made out pretty good. New Years Eve was spent at home just us and the boys watching the ball drop. We even had sparkling cider.
Both of the boys wanted to stay up to see the ball drop but just 30 minutes before the new year Austin fell asleep on the floor. Poor little guy.
Alex however made it until 12:00 and celebrated the New Year with us. I think he was very ready for bed even though he would never have said that.
Today we all are getting back into our routine and it has been tough. The boys were excited to go to school but getting up early was not so fun. I am sure the boys will come home today with plenty of stories to tell about their first day back. Happy New year everyone. I hope it has been great so far.
